Social & Community Participation

Community & Social activities with the NDIS

With SNL Supports we have Support workers with a wide range or experience and hobbies. We value connection as a significant part of life. There are many ways to meet people & try new things. Under the NDIS, Social and Community services are about supporting people with a disability to take part in their community. This is just another way of saying it’s about getting out and about, meeting people, and trying new things or maintaining something you might enjoy! That might be going to weekly art class, going on a holiday, joining a local community group and much more.

What is Social and Community Participation?

Participating in social and community activities is an essential aspect of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our mission is to work with you to improve your self-esteem, social life, and overall well-being through routine, social interactions and healthy relationships. We recognise that every individual is unique, as are his or her talents, abilities, and objectives. We will match you with a support worker who is a good fit for you, your beliefs, your way of life and with whom you feel at ease.
